Lin Bennett has several decades of experience in the performing arts as a mime, actor, performance artist, and singer. Following study at Michigan’s Oakland University and Teacher’s College training in Toronto, she received three years of physical theatre training in Paris at Ecole Etienne Decroux. In Canada, Lin co-founded Vancouver’s long running Axis Theatre Company, and performed with groups such as Box 80 Theatre Society, Green Thumb Players, and Carousel Theatre. She continued to take workshops in clown, dance, Japanese theatre, and singing. Lin spent eight seasons with Thousand Islands Playhouse in marketing, while teaching young theatre students for MBS dance studio. She began working with H’art Centre in 2013, where she taught mime and assisted with productions of Rare and Down Syndrome by the Dozen.
